Chinese lyrics, romanized lyrics and translation
Lyrics are not translated word for word. They are translated by meanings.

ting yuan – ying tao bang
Courtyard – Cherry Boom

cheng shi de hei ye, sheng xia yi lun yuan yue
In the dark city night, the full moon remains

xing xing zai tian bian, di bu guo ni hong jie
Stars dot the sky, but they lose out to the neon streets

gui hua kai le mei, zhe li zhi you mei gui
Are the osmanthus blooming, there are merely roses here

yi duo wu shi yuan, mei you gen ke he shui
Fifty dollar for a stalk, it doesn’t have roots to drink from

zhe li shi hai feng chui bu jing de ta
This is a tower where the sea breeze doesn’t permeate

I’m willing to be trapped in the dream-catcher

hui jia de lu bu yuan, kan jian mei, zai ri chu hou mian
It’s not far from home, did you see it, it is just behind the sunrise

wo men zou tai yuan, zhi gu zhe, wang qian qu tan xian
We wandered too far, we were caught up with the adventure

hui jia de lu bu yuan, wen dao le xia yu de qi wei
It’s not far from home, I can smell the rain

wo men cai xiang qi, you ba san, yi wang zai ting yuan
Then we recall, once again we left the umbrella in the courtyard

cheng shi de hei ye, gu du te bie leng lie
In the dark city night, loneliness is especially chilling

wo zhan zai da jie, bu zhi gai wang na bian
I stood in the middle of the street, not knowing which direction to go

Are the osmanthus blooming, those that live by the wall of the house

ji gei wo yi xie, pei zhe wo qu si nian
Send some to me, it will be companionship to my memories

zhe li shi hai feng chui bu jing de ta
This a tower where the sea breeze doesn’t permeate

I’m willing to be trapped in the dream-catcher

hui jia de lu bu yuan, kan jian mei, zai ri chu hou mian
It’s not far from home, did you see it, it is just behind the sunrise

wo men zou tai yuan, zhi gu zhe, wang qian qu tan xian
We wandered too far, we were caught up with the adventure

hui jia de lu bu yuan, wen dao le xia yu de qi wei
It’s not far from home, I can smell the rain

wo men cai xiang qi, you ba san, yi wang zai ting yuan
Then we recall, once again we left the umbrella in the courtyard

hui jia de lu bu yuan, zai meng li zou guo hao ji bian
It’s not far from home, I walked these paths numerous times in my dreams

wo men yi lu bao yi lu zhui, dao bu liao zhong dian
We ran and we chase but the finishing line is still unattainable

you duo shao ming tian, neng yi zai de hao fei
How many tomorrows are we going to squander

hao fei de zuo tian, feng gan sheng xia de lei
The squandered yesterdays are exposed to the wind, all’s left are tears

yao duo ta de xin yuan, rang yi han shao yi xie
How huge must the wish be to reduce the magnitude of the regrets

shui zhe hai feng chui, chui xiang lai shi ting yuan
Blowing with the sea breeze, blow into the courtyard I came from

Post note: These lyrics are a little abstract. My own interpretation is this is written in perspective of a person who left home and it is impossible to return now, and all that’s left to do is to imagine what’s like at home now.
